- Delegate work effectively with a clear definition of requirements and expectations while ensuring the safety of those working under direct supervision.
- Coordinates with Rig Superintendent and Preventative Maintenance Coordinator on the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of equipment.
- Create applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
- Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Foresee potential equipment malfunctions or failures and performs required repairs, adjustments or modification to resolve the problem.
- Enters maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance management system (MMS)
- Provide onsite assistance and guidance to maintenance personnel with trouble shooting issues and repair.
- Monitor oil sample results and ensure recommendations are implemented onsite and reported accordingly.
- Track non-destructive testing and major maintenance to be performed at pre-determined intervals.
- Ensure third party contractor’s work meets the quality, cost and safety standards required by the company.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to schedule staffing and resources for the most effective productivity and timely completion of maintenance. Provide technical support for maintenance systems questions and problems.
- Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to all maintenance processes, procedures, and policies.
- Comply with platform emergency response plan or station bills during emergencies and/ or drills.
- Ensure Parker Drilling’s Competency program – Authorized to Operate (ATO) and Approved Competent Operator (ACO) are applied and followed.

- Maintain and update asset tags for onsite equipment.

The Project Specialist II position understands articulates, and implements best practices related to their area of expertise. Depending on the work environment, this position may lead a work-group or be an active participant within a project management team with the need for specialized knowledge.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:
Facilitates the preparation and control of project scope, justification, economic analysis, schedule, construction and management execution using the Company project development process.
Coordinates activities of the integrated project team which will include representatives from other functional groups within the Company.
Provides engineering and design support as required, including the selection and procurement of equipment and related services and engineering analysis (as required by the project).
Ability to solve technical issues related to project execution and effectively communicate in technical terms with internal and external clients.
Implement and manage risk mitigation plans.

Provide maintenance and repair to Company’s equipment to ensure that assigned equipment is kept in efficient working condition in compliance with the Company’s quality standards and manufacturers. To safely operate casing/tubing tongs and maintain spare parts relevant to equipment operation and maintenance
Essential functions
- To safely and satisfactory perform any given casing/tubing tong assignment
- When stand by, keep in contact with the Operation Supervisor / Coordinator and stay in contact by means of telephone.
- Understand the operation and routine maintenance requirements of all tubular handling and clearing equipment.
- Having a general knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
- Have sound knowledge of quality procedures and work instructions and initiate changes to such as required, to be able to perform jobs efficiently and safe
- Understand routine and specific maintenance procedures as they relate to power tongs and power units
- Preparation of accurate delivery tickets, job reports, time sheets and other similar administrative forms.
- Must be able to prepare and dispatch equipment according to checklist procedures.
- Must be able to independently and trouble shoots all tubular handling and cleaning equipment.
- Assist maintenance supervisor with special maintenance assignments and perform pipe yard duties as necessary.
- Must have an extensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
- Act as trainer for Service Technicians I and II.
- An extensive operational and maintenance knowledge of all Company equipment including but not limited to Hydro test, compressors, pipe cleaning machine, etc. is essential
- Able to operate pipe yard equipment such as cleaning and bucking machines
- Report any accident, incidents or near miss incidents in accordance with the company’s HSE Manual. Attend monthly HSE meetings and initiate changes to existing HSE procedures or initiate new procedures if deemed necessary.
- Perform other assignment as directed by supervisory personnel
- Responsible for QHSSE and EEP operations for his relevant functions.
- ITS operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) at all operational facilities to meet their business, legal and moral HSEQ obligations. All personnel are required to work in full compliance with the requirements set out in the ITS Group IMS, this will include as a minimum.
