IT Manager

The Role

• Develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedulers for information technology projects.
• Oversee all phases of the project from conception to completion.
• Assist with upgrading information security
• Manage a team of consultants, programmers, developers, and analysts.
• Ensure the project is completed within budget and on time.
• Follow standards to manage projects through the project lifecycles of initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Develop work-breakdown structures.
• Develop project tracking and variance reports.
• Assemble risk management plans and work effort documents.
• Create project documentation, Provide risk assessment.
• Review estimates, Assess new opportunities, and Prepare proposals.
• Flag potential issues, and manage multiple vendors.
• Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions to meet customer/client needs while protecting the corporation’s assets.
• Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms.
• Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintains the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centers. • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems + Diploma in Management.
• MBA with a specialization in IT preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 7 years of experience in the same field.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP, ITIL, LAN, WAN, Operating Systems Administration, Protocols, IT Security, RDBMS, and .Net Programming Environment.
• Knowledge of business process and retail and wholesale process workflow.
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
