Guest Services Assistant
The Guest Services Assistant is to provide courteous and professional service to our guests and to offer assistance as needed during their stay. They are to provide the highest level of recognition and personalized service to the guests. They are to also assist the Concierge duty and Service Excellence Manager in the day to day operations and be familiar with the hotel’s standards, policies and procedures.
Main Duties:
- To maintain personal contact with guests and act as hotel ambassador to greet and communicating with guest at the lobby
- To be totally familiar with room amenities, layout, rate structure, outlets (e.g. operating hours, menu, prices), facilities and services offered in the hotel
- To be conversant with the Front Office computer program and its application and operation.
- To reply guest email inquiries within given timeframe
- Giving directions to attractions at LEGOLAND, Dubai Parks and Resorts as well as local tourist spots for entertainment, eatery, shopping and etc.
- To be able to recommend travel arrangements, can help guest make dining reservations.
- To be aware of activities and happenings in-house e.g. entertainment, promotions, conference locations, banquet, parties, etc.
- Maintain the 1 stop shop for all internal calls and enquiries, room assignment and guest email correspondence.
- To be aware of all arrivals and departures especially the VIP guests.
- To welcome as many guests as possible upon arrival at the hotel.
- To inspect rooms assigned to VIP guests so as to ensure that all requests for special arrangements are attended to. (e.g. fruits, special occasion set up if any & etc)
- To handle guest complaints or requests and liaise with the departments concerned to ensure immediate follow-up.
- To bid farewell to departing guests whenever possible.
- To make courtesy and follow up calls where needed to ensure highest guest satisfaction.
- To perform any other duties as may be directed by the Hotel Excellence and Guest Experience Manager.
- Be aware of Lost and Found procedures, at all times.

The Entertainment & Events (E&E) department in LEGOLAND Dubai creates opportunities for memorable guest experiences within the park and Hotel. That is through performances, workshops, characters and annual events driven by the LEGO brand.
Frontline Attendants in the Entertainment and Events department may perform work behind the scenes or direct tasks assigned by Team Leaders or Supervisor, and any Events & Entertainment related activities assigned. This may include training for new tasks or random street acts depending on event, seasonal and festive requirements.
Maintains a safe environment and high standard of guest service throughout character/performing process. Supports and assists the Events & Entertainment Management team at all times.
Frontline Attendants will also serve, at times, as an easily recognizable “signature” representation of LEGOLAND Dubai. Entertains guests and promotes LEGOLAND Dubai on a daily basis throughout the park and at periodic off- site special events.
Main Responsibilities
- LEGO character mascot work and chaperoning LEGO characters
- Host activities/games during our special events
- Hosts tours in our LEGO Factory
- Dance in street shows and dance workshops
- Assist in the preparation & installation for all Park Events (flexibility to work late evenings)

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety standards are achieved and maintained throughout the daily operation of the waterpark and in particular water-based features/activities/slides/pools. In accordance with International water safety standards. They will ensure that the company standards and values are met and developed through working relationships with all levels within the department. To follow all procedures and training to nurture behavior where the health and safety of our guests and staff are of paramount importance while providing the highest standards of guest satisfaction, they will be expected to drive our key operating standards of Safety, Service, Quality, and Efficiency. Expected to take the role of a slide attendant when needed
Main Duties:
To become a licensed lifeguard in order to deliver the necessary skills such as water rescue, First Aid, and CPR when needed. Skill levels must be audit ready at all times in order to exceed the highest standards of safety
To understand and follow all Lifesaving Program guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Actions Plans in order to have in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements and protocol
To operate the rides and attractions in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures in conjunction with the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommended operational dispatch methods in order to ensure that all Guests are dispatched in the correct and safest way
To exude a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with guests and fellow colleagues
To completely satisfy each guest by greeting, helping, and protecting them while maintaining a professional appearance at all times and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the park in order to contribute to the success of the organization
Clean all areas of the pools and walkways, both in the water and above the water, including all pool furniture and paths in order to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and safety
To report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of guest safety at all times
To enforce facility rules and provide crowd control in a friendly manner throughout the aquatic areas as necessary in order to ensure the guest’s safety and enjoyable experience
To maintain a clean environment by picking up garbage inside the park and back of the house, in order to provide sanitary surroundings for our guests and colleagues
Co-operating with management and following policies and procedure to promote a healthy and safe workplace
Take reasonable care of their health & safety and the individuals around them
Comply with all health & safety procedures and all reasonable management requests

Team lead of the Miniland Animation Team. Responsible and make sure Miniland and Parkwide LEGO animations are in perfect order.
Keeps both Guest and Model Citizen Safety the #1 priority. Accountable for proactively maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for park guests and employees.
Design and build animatronics and automated effects for LEGO models. Works closely with Model Designers to develop fun and whimsical effects for LEGO models.
Creates a fun and exciting animation and special effects for LEGO models.
Perform Daily Pre-Operational Safety & Maintenance Inspections on LEGO attractions.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections and preventive maintenance on all LEGO attractions.
Maintains a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
Meet the time, budget, and quality directions given when designing and building animation for LEGO models.
Responds to calls during operating hours and make repairs as required.
Ensures that all animation work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.
Ensures internal compliance with maintenance, safety, and security procedures by following established ASTM, NEC, state and local electrical codes, and loss prevention guidelines.
Operates machine tools, such as drill presses, power saws, grinders, lathes, and mills, etc.

Main Responsibilities
Attends staff meetings for purpose of directing, informing, and training.

The technician is responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their team, in line with the Group Policy (HS001).
Conducts a safety and quality control check of all LEGO models on site, for the purpose of recognizing models that need immediate repairs or attention and takes appropriate action or notifies management immediately.
Technicians must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that their team is aware of the Group Health, Safety, and Security Policy and their obligations under it.
The technician is responsible for each team, providing all the safety equipment and ensuring the team follows all the safety rules.

Able to remove, install, repair, and test, automated, timed and sensor-triggered mechanical effects utilizing pneumatic, electrical, audio, video, lighting, and programmable logic control equipment.
A good knowledge of pneumatic control systems and linear actuators, solenoids, as well as low voltage AC and DC motors.
Must be able to read blueprints pertaining to attraction infrastructure as well as electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Ability to observe and remember details and follow Manager directions effectively.
Must have general knowledge of mechanical systems and tools for LEGOLAND displays and attractions including;
Fabricates steel supports and mounting hardware as needed. Works with Model Designers to bring LEGO models ‘to life’.
Have good communication and organizational skills.
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The F&B Culinary Lead will be responsible to develop, cost, implement and monitor the food and beverage offering across both LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND Water park to ensure both parks provide the highest standard of food and beverages.
The job holder will assist in the training and development of all food preparation staff whilst improving methods and processes within the operation to reflect the park’s HACCP program.
Additionally, support and guide the F&B management team to identify and choose food suppliers for LEGOLAND Dubai ensuring only the best quality and cost-effective products are used. Provide the Food & Beverage team with operational day-to-day support whilst providing expert knowledge to increase overall Food & Beverage guest service, quality, and expectation scores.
Main Duties
Food Development & Menu Creation:
The Food & Beverage Culinary Lead will play a central role in developing and creating new food products and menus within the scope, set by the Head of Commercial and the F&B Operations managers. The Culinary Lead will work individually and/or with the F&B Operations managers to develop profitable food menus based on seasonal events, trend data, and guest demand. Weekly food checks should be carried out by the Culinary Lead across both parks to ensure quality, specifications, menu, and process’ are being accurately followed. The Culinary Lead will ensure that all recipes within the systems are kept up to date and adapt menus based on feedback or cost changes.
Objectives
Ensure all active menus are maintained and updated within the Abaco system. Bottom 3 selling / performing items are to be removed and replaced each quarter.
Carry out weekly menu checks across the parks to ensure accuracy and menu specifications are being followed by team members at all times.
The quarterly menu changes across F&B outlets to ensure the business stays on trend as well as VFM for Annual Pass Holders.
Develop innovative menus across the parks based on current trends and populate growing food & beverages.
Identify any training needs for F&B team members and carry out training with the support of unit managers
Develop allergen information for all food menus to comply with HACCP procedures
Operations:
The Culinary Lead will play an active role in supporting the daily operation of food and beverage by providing ‘on-the-job training, service support, and guidance. Daily presentation, daily production, and merchandising will be reviewed by the Culinary Lead to ensure all food products are displayed correctly and produced to specifications. The Culinary Lead will attend biweekly meetings with the F&B Operations Managers to discuss unit KPIs, wastages, variances, menu performance, and seasonal offerings.
Objectives
Daily operational support within Food & Beverage department to support business needs and guest satisfaction
Attend biweekly meetings with F&B Management Team to discuss KPIs, wastages, variances, menu performance, and seasonal offerings
Support F&B managers with any challenges with menu production, wastages, or operational support
Report weekly KPIs in management meetings along with plans to improve & maintain current scores
Health & Safety :
The Culinary Lead will support the Food & Beverage department in ensuring that Health & Safety remains the number one priority of the business by ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed always and reporting any potential Health & Safety risks. Conduct and support the HACCP manager with monthly internal audits.
Objectives
Ensure all F&B team members are always following H&S processes’ and procedures
Ensure any food menus developed follow both the Merlin Entertainment Food policy and the Dubai Food Code
Carry out Internal Hygiene Audits
Suppliers:
The Culinary Lead will be supporting the F&B Operations Managers to manage all food suppliers for the food and beverage department.
Objectives
Support the F&B senior management team with communication for all F&B suppliers
Meet with suppliers to build upon relationships and rectify issues
Review products and prices and identify competitive prices to support overall profit with the support of F&B senior managers

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
A Secondary education (or equivalent education and experience) and Food Hygiene certification are required. A college degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
Requires at least 5 years of progressive experience as a restaurant chef in a theme park, resort, or fine dining restaurant. Must be customer-service focused and understand customer expectations. Knowledge in food and culinary design is required. Must possess strong communication skills, both in verbal and written format. Effective organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions required. Ability to work as part of a team and to develop others within the team structure required.
