Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Please note that this opportunity is on a contract basis for 1 month as a leave cover.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Demonstrated knowledge in electrical techniques, procedures, and in all relevant international codes and standards.
• Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of the electrical engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and the firms’ professional image.
• Ability to understand, identify and assess project risk.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10+ years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in 33kV / 11 kV substations.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Engineer (Traffic) to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role is within our Infrastructure division where the main focus is on Design works.

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Preparing Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans.
• Preparing traffic survey data reports.
• Using SYNCHRO, Sidra and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures
• Supporting the development and interrogation of strategic and micro-simulation transport models including VISUM and VISSIM
• Preparing and delivering of presentations to Clients and Approving Authorities
• Undertaking checks and reviews to ensure others work is comprehensive and accurate and applies sound engineering principals and standards.
• Mentoring junior staff members
• Responding to requests for proposals – technical approach and financials.
• Developing strong communication and working relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices
• Managing own continuous development and support the development of colleagues.
• Supporting the development of master plans for new cities and towns

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 8 years of work experience (4 of those within the UAE on similar projects), partnered with a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or equivalent. Master’s Degree is preferable.

You will have worked as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large scale developments.

You will be a member of a transportation professional institution and working towards professional accreditation of either IEng, CEng or P.E

You will have a demonstrated experience in preparing a wide range of Transportation Impact Studies across the Gulf Region along with the following skills:

– Experience with DoT/ITC in Abu Dhabi, RTA in Dubai, MoTC in Qatar and other regional municipalities

– Ability to innovatively solve a wide range of transportation problems

Proficient use of CUBE/STEAM/VISUM/VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, CAD, Auto-turn. Also Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
