1-Help the company in cost-effective ship management.
2-Transfer each work order that the vessels make into the rolling forecast maintenance & repair planning and to ensure if the work order is complete.
3-Maintain good contact with Maintenance Cell, Fleet Engineer, Vessel crew, and the purchasing department to ensure everything is ready at the right time.
4-Make a description of the scope incl. estimate cost, based on time (man hours) and material and an estimation for lead time.
5-Candidate should be able to make the work scope very clear for the shipyard and the vessel to ensure a good estimation of time and costs.
6-Reporting your activities and progress of the work to the Maintenance Cell and fleet team.
7-Maintain and promote the company’s SHEQ and NINA policies throughout all your activities.

Your qualities
You can make your mark as technical superintendent if you have:

A-A bachelor r degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or similar qualification.
B-At least 5 years’ experience as a technical superintendent, inspector, or chief engineer.
C-Candidate should be able to read the ship drawings, have experience in a TSI/maintenance role.
D-Communicative, strong in contact with vessels crew about the content of the work orders.
